size: 5"w x 7"h

It's that time of year again for the Queen of Hearts blog hop... I'm using the 3rd of the fabulous Love type stamps from Quietfire Design that came out last week.

("The Future is Uncertain"); ("Valentine's Day/Love" 8pce set)

I thought this one would make a nice guy card with the Peacock Feathers and brick type wall..

You can see the other cards I made with these newest stamps HERE, HERE & HERE

I die cut the Spellbinders Classic Frame (an oldie but goodie...) from white cardstock, sponging with various Distress greens and a touch of brown. Made sure it was dry prior stamping the quote - inking with Distress "Spun Sugar" all over, then hitting the word "LOVE" here and there with "Salty Ocean" & "Peacock Feathers", then hitting the text with Black Soot, stamped and clear embossed.

Embossed a piece of cream toned cardstock using Darice "Brick Wall" embossing folder, moving the folder as needed to cover my larger piece of cardstock. Trimmed down and sponged with "Old Paper" then with "Pumice Stone". Adhered to the front of my brown toned textured card.

Adhered the quote piece, aligning it with the frame piece. Used some corrugated dark brown quill cardstock, trimmed down to 1/8" and adhered around the underside edges of the frame, then adhered the frame to my quote piece on the card.

Die cut the feathers (Spellbinders) from white cardstock and sponged with the Ocean, Sugar, "Picked Raspberry" & or "Peeled Paint". Die cut a heart (Spellbinders "Classic Hearts" set), sponged some sugar all over, embossed with Pearlescent embossing powder, adhered a piece of the corrugated cardstock, leaving the upper area free, around the under edge and adhered to card. Adhered the peacock feathers.

Looped some green wire thread (Prima) around a thin bamboo dowel and adhered a flower bead with a glue gun, then adhered that to card.

Tied a small bow from gold wired ribbon, adhered to the heart vase with a glue gun and adhered the enamelled heart bead.

Final touch added a couple large oval pearls to the frame.

Inside

On the inside adhered a piece of pink toned marble paper. Used the negative of the frame, trimming it down to fit, creating a mask with post it notes and stamping all over with the sentiment stamp using "Pumice Stone". Adhered to inside of card. Stamped the sentiment using the Black Onyx and clear embossed.
