ID: MC Jan/15 - Easel Heart Roses - The Heart - HB card
size: 7"w  x 5"h (card closed)

Created: January 13, 2015

Just got my newest stamps from Quietfire Design  and had to use one of them...

("The Heart Has Its Reason"); ("Happy Birthday/Let Them Eat Cupcakes"4pce set);

I die cut the mid size of the Spellbinders "Classic Hearts", and the rectangle shape (Spellbinders "Resplendent Rectangles"), both from white cardstock, sponged with Distress "Old Paper" and then some red. Adhered them together, making sure the heart in the quote would fall in the right place...

Stamped the quote with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Applied Quickie glue and sprinkled with Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter "Gold".

Die cut the largest heart (2 from white cardstock) sponged with red, embossed using Darice "Wire Fence" then hit the high points with "Festive Berries". Adhered them together so they would be no more than 7" wide.

Scored and folded cream toned cardstock to create my easel, place my hearts and rectangle on the card and drew around the shape, then fussy cut, avoiding cutting the bottom section till later.

Die cut the largest decorative oval (Spellbinders "Floral Ovals") from white cardstock. Sponged with the old paper. Stamped the sentiment with the black and clear embossed.

Hand cut around the largest oval (Spellbinders "Petite Ovals Small") from cream toned cardstock. Adhered to floral ovals shape.

Used the oval die to cut the bottom of my shape, then cut the top of the card to fit.

I had some paper towels I had used to clean up my Gelli plates the other day, so adhered one of them to some heavy weight paper and die cut with the largest heart and adhered to floor.

Adhered the decorative oval to floor using 3D foam tape.

Some of the Gelli prints weren't that good, so used one of them (heavy weight paper "Columbia Mills End Paper") to die cut the roses (Die-Namics "Mini Royal Roses"). Assembled a whole bunch of them yesterday... Adhered the flourishes from my stash (Dee's Distinctively "Flourishes" several sets - stamped and embossed), then the roses. added the Sari ribbon bows.

Final touch added the vintage toned pearl flourishes.
