Anne used various papers including watercolour and Text wove. I decided to use my own papers. Stonehenge in a Natural and in the Black. I took a 4 day workshop with Georgia Angelopoulos in October 08 Uncials & Gilding, so I thought I'd put a bit of that in her journal. She also asked me to put some zentangles in there.

For this zentangle I used 110# white cardstock, drawing the letter "a" first and then the doodling around it. I colored in the letter with Prisma colors and added a red mini rhinestone. Mounted it to black cardstock and then to a bright yellow cardstock and then onto my Natural Stonehenge page.

The back of the "a" Zentangle is the Possibility Thinkers Creed. We used to recite this years ago during my Mary Kay meetings. It has strong memories and feelings for me. And then it was quite appropriate since gilding on Stonehenge is not easy. I had to apply the size three times in various areas before I got it more or less the way I wanted. I used composition gold leaf. Added the Pearl Turquoise color with Lumiere paint. The quote was written with a Mitchell nib and Moon Palace Sumi ink.

The next page I rubber stamped the morning glories (Quietfire Design) using the Essential Glue Pad and then composition gold leaf. I then wrote the quote with a Mitchell nib and Ecoline Gold ink.

The back of the morning glory page is another Zentangle but this time I made patterns using every letter of the alphabet. Also mounted it to the black and then the bright yellow cardstock and then to the main page.

I did my sign in on white cardstock using the composition gold. I then dry embossed designs and added a bit of color with a Super Ferby Metallic pencil.
