This is the cover to my journal. I used a black cardstock called Touché by Fiber Mark. It has as soft, luxurious finish. My journal was made with 110 lb white cardstock and bound with my Zutter Bind it All machine (fabulous little gadget).

I ran my cardstock through my Cuttlebug using the "Traffic jam" embossing plate to create my embossed design. I used Peel Offs alphabets to create some of my word and the rest were done with a Script nib (Nikko G) and Mona Lisa Gold Leaf adhesive then I applied the Red Variegated Gold Leaf. I find this cardstock fabulous to write on with all kinds of inks and tools. I edged my covers with a scalloped copper foil.
