"Opaque Envelope Exchange - Sandy July/08"

Created: July  21, 2008
Modified: July 24, 2008

Size: 5" h x 7.5" w

I used a dark green cardstock for this envelope. I love the lilac postage stamps, so scanned the lilacs from the front of the stamp package, manipulated and printed it out, then transferred the important details to my envelope and colored them in with Prisma Colors.

Used an empty 2.4 Parallel Pen as a dipping pen and Dr Martin's Bleed Proof white mixed with  water. When dry went over the caps with Ecoline ink (blue violet).

For each envelope I made a card with the details of how I made the envie. I love the central piece of artwork/background. It's made with Pan Pastels and Krylon workable fixative. To see the instructions please click on this link "Pan Pastels - Cards Opaque Envelope"

I punched out the 2 corners (Marvy & a Corner Adorner) to slip my background into from a piece of light lavender Bazill monochromatic cardstock and then adhered it to another Bazill cardstock (olivish green color). I rubber stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) with gold pigment stamp pad and Queen's Gold embossing powder.
