Created: May 5/08

Modified: May 9, 2008

All of these start off with several alcohol ink backgrounds either streaked or mottled and on Pearlized "Cocoa" paper or glossy photo paper. Check out the samples of the various backgrounds I made creating streaks and mottled patterns. Link at the bottom of the page.

I rubber stamped the Asian word "Don't Quit" (Sunday International "Kanji") with gold stamp pad and Queen's gold embossing powder. Punched out the oak leaves (unknown) and used the Paddle Punch for the circle. Mounted this to a leaf green cardstock then onto the dark green faux leatherette then onto the leaf green again.

I punched out a circle and glued it to my olive green cardstock. Then over stamped the bamboo sprig (Old Island Rubber Stamps # 455) with green stamp pad and Pearl Green embossing powder. Rubber stamped the Asian word for Dream (Evolving Images "Oriental Dreams") with gold stamp pad and Queen's gold embossing powder. mounted this to the leaf green cardstock and added some green flower brads in the corners.

Punched out some circles that were too large so decided to punch smaller circles leaving donut shapes behind. Waste not want not. So I intertwined them rubber stamping a bamboo sprig (All Night Media #3655) on the first with green stamp pad and Pearl Green embossing powder. Glued the circles down then over stamped the same bamboo sprig with black Staz on. Rubber stamped the Asian word for Dream same as Dream #1. Mounted it to a pale yellow cardstock.

Rubber stamped the Asian word Dream (Rubber Trouble "Asian" sheet #25-00) with green stamp pad and Pearl green embossing powder. Mounted this to the leaf green cardstock

I punched out some maple leaves. Rubber stamped the Asian word "Friendship"  (Sunday International "Kanji") with green stamp pad and emerald green embossing powder on leaf green cardstock. Added a gold dragonfly brad.  Mounted it onto the pale yellow cardstock.

I rubber stamped the leaf (unknown) and the word "Inspire" (Quietfire Design) with green stamp pads and only embossed the word with emerald embossing powder on a piece of vellum. Coated the whole surface with Diamond glaze hoping to get a glass like oval disc. Not quite. Ripples... But was ok for the ATC. the background is various stripes of left over alcohol backgrounds.  Mounted this to the leaf green cardstock

I rubber stamped the leaf (Fred Mullett "Italian Parsley") and the word "Cherish" (Quietfire Design) with green stamp pad and only the word with emerald green embossing powder. Used an Evolving Images hexagon "Thangs" acrylic template for the shape. Punched out a small butterfly with a paddle punch. added some Stickles dots and 3D paint for the body.
