This journal has 31 large circles and 39 small circles of 65# cream toned cardstock. I put 10 small circles on the front and back to mimic the design of the covers and the balance of the small circles are interspersed between the large circles as follows (3 large/2 small/3 large and so forth);

The covers are made from mat board and both inside and outside are painted with acrylic paint in a lime green color as well as the edge. The medium circles are painted with Distress crackle paint "Worn Lipstick" and then rubbed with various stamp pads to get the color I wanted.  The edges painted with a Zig purple marker. The small circle in front was done with Ritz Glitter (micro fine) in a Yin Yang motif using "Ocean Spray" & "Rose". Edge painted with the lime green. The letters were punched out of a Sizzlets Alphabet die from various papers and glued to the circle.

The small circle on back is also Ritz glitter "orange".

I used a 1" Zutter wire
