I also have a passion for frogs. I love the exotic ones with the gorgeous colors. I drew the fern leaves and words with a micron pen. The frog was done on a separate paper with colored pencils and then cut out and pasted to the main page. A portion of the frog was not pasted to the page but left loose over the o-ring binding and also at the back feet, which is hiding some text at the moment.  The green background is done with some chalk pastels and a cotton ball and then the whole page was sprayed with workable fixative. The spores on the fern leaves was done with the back of a bamboo skewer which I pierced a hole in the end to create a mini donut shape. I then dipped that into a Versa Mark stamp pad "Jumbo Java". Some of you may recognize this frog as it's on the cover of one of this year's frog calendars.

Quote #1: Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary if I shall have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it, even if I may not have it at the beginning. Gandhi

Quote #2: The 1st step is to find out what you love to do - & don't be practical about it. The 2nd is to start doing what you love immediately, in any small way possible. Barbara Sher
