This is the 4th day of the online watercolor for cards class

I'm using a couple of the newest  stamps from  Quietfire Design. that I got in the mail the day before yesterday

Basic Stamping with Yana Smakula

I applied Dr martin's Concentrated watercolors onto my acrylic block in yellows, orange, brown and green. Wet the areas between the rows of color using a watercolor brush dipped into Perfect Pearls "Heirloom Gold". Pressed my stamp (Flourishes "Damask Bkgr'd" Reversed) into the wetness, moving it around a bit to cover the whole stamp, then pressed it down on my Arches 90# HP watercolor paper. (1st generation background)

I misted the stamp and did another print for the card at right (2nd generation background)

I hit the edges of the 1st generation with a Versamark pad and embossed with Queen's Gold. Adhered it to a side folded brown card. Adhered the lace pearl ribbo the the left side.

Created a triple loop peg bow using Sari ribbon ad adhered it to the card with a hot glue gun. Then adhered the pearlized heart with the glue gun as well. While going through my ribbons saw the feathers and added a couple of them.

Stamped the sentiment onto drafting vellum using Versafine "Vintage Sepia" and hitting here and there with a Black Onyx pad, then clear embossed. Used a Spellbinders oval die set. Edged the oval with the Versamark pad and embossed with the Queen's Gold. Shadowed the lettering with a micron pen. adhered to card with the glue gun.

As a final touch added the gold pearls.

I die cut the edge with Spellbinders "A2 Curved Borders One". Layered this on to my blue card.

For the 2nd generation card distressed the edges using Tim's distressing tool, then wrapped the background with some twine, then adhered it to a side folded brown card. Created a loopy flower bow using a glue gun and gluing the loops as I was creating the bow. Adhered to card then adhered the flower button. Added the pearl flourish and pearls at each corner.

Stamped the sentiment using Distress pads in a red and here and there with a purple pad, then clear embossed.
