ID: Rainbow Maker Day 5 - Stencils Pastes DFlies - ECD Believe - In Creating - Reminding One Another card
size: 5"w x 7"h  (easel closed)

Created: August 15, 2017
Modified:

I signed up for another of Jennifer Mcguire's onLine classes. Lots of Inspiration...

This is a relatively large stencil, but really pretty. I never can use the whole thing though... Love the glittery effect from this technique

I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Believe" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And using a quote and design element stamps from Quietfire Design,

("In Creating..." sorry discontinued); ("Reminding One Another..."); (Butterflies/Dragonflies " 7pce set)

Folded my yellow Bazzill monochromatic cardstock to create my easel card. Cut another piece the same size for the front.

Created the background on 90# Arches HP watercolor paper. Direct to paper and with a sponge using Distress pads in the rainbow colors. Generously misted with water and tilted the page to blend a bit. Dried thoroughly.

Lay my Prima stencil onto the background. Mixed my Dreamweaver translucent paste with Distress Rock Candy glitter, then smeared it over the stencil. Removed stencil (washing it right away) and set the background aside to dry. Trimmed it down and adhered to front of card.

Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Die cut with Spellbinder's circle die set, sponged edges with a dirty purple sponge and adhered to card front.

Die cut the "Believe" from cream cardstock, inked with Versamark and clear embossed. Adhered to front.

Created a silhouette file to cut the dragonflies. Inked the stamp with Distress mini pads, stamping on the cut files (no fussy cutting...) and embossed with Emerald Creek "Iridescent Shimmer"

On the floor:  Adhered a piece of rainbow ribbon to the floor.

Stamped the quote on white cardstock using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Rectangles" hit the edges direct to paper with a red pad. Adhered to floor.

Stamped the sentiments with the black using my Misti and clear embossed.

Adhered one of the larger dragonflies.

Die cut the letters for "IN" (Elizabeth Craft Designs) using black cardstock. Die cut the "yourself from cream cardstock and inked with the Versamark and clear embossed. Adhered both words to a strip of the yellow cardstock, then onto the floor to act as my stopper.
