I signed up for another of Jennifer Mcguire's onLine classes. Lots of Inspiration...

I'll get around to doing something on the inside eventually...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Smiles"  from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE

And using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design, 

("If I Had A Star...") 

I created the background on white 110# cardstock. Inking the rainbow colors using Distress pads both direct to paper and with a round sponge blender. Misted liberally with water and swish my finger through the wetness to move color and give faux brush strokes... Dried thoroughly. Powdered the surface with an antic static pad. Placed my stencil (Prima Marketing #569440) on top, inked with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.

I couldn't find my star dies or punches... so electronic cut a bunch of sizes from the decorated cardstock. Adhered to front pleasingly

Die cut the "Smiles" from the same piece of cardstock. Mounted on to a die cut piece of white fun foam then onto my card front.

Stamped the quote using Distress Picket Fence and embossed with white embossing powder.
