Scored and folded
my dark brown cardstock to create the easel. Cut another piece
same size as front and adhered.
I had a
watercolor painting I really wasn't happy with done on Arches 140#
HP watercolor paper, so I decided it was time to cut it up...
applied Bob Ross "Black Gesso" thinly over it. dried and ran
through my machine with Spellbinders 3D M'Bossibilites "Creative
Cogs". Dried. Rubbed Old Island Metallic Rub Ons in gold
and silver all over with my finger. Trimmed down and adhered to
front.
Die cut the various gears (Tim Holtz
Bigz die "Gadget Gears" and thinlits "Gearhead"
22 pce set) from white cardstock. Painted and embossed using
Distress Dabber "Tarnished Bronze" and some "Black
Soot" Embossed using Emerald Creek "Verdisgris"
embossing powder sparingly. Then just added some of the black paint
and wiped with a paper towel. For the smaller dies I just used the
bronze and the black.

Adhered the medium sized gear to the front using 3D foam tape. The other 2
gears, partially adhered to floor to use as my stopper.
Stamped the quote using Versafine
"Toffee'" and embossed with Queen's Gold embossing powder.
Die cut the "Happy Birthday" from DoCraft
Gold Mirror cardstock. (ps it cuts like butter...)
