I've been meaning to do some cards with poinsettias and finally got around to it.

I'm also using  Xmas stamps from Quietfire Design

I side folded my white card.

The Poinsettia was die cut from white cardstock using Tim's "Tattered Poinsettia" die. I used the dirty craft sheet from the previous card and sprayed Dylusions "White Linen" which gave me a nice pink. Misted my florets with water and smooshed them through the inks. Dried them. Placed them in the "Musical Flourishes" embossing folder, hit the high points with a Versamark pad and embossed with Queen's Gold, then scrunched the petals and assembled them.

Stamped the doily (Stampin Up "Hello Doily") with Distress Antique Linen and clear embossed. Sponged a dirty brown sponge around the edges and then one with pinks. Adhered my flower.

I then decided I wanted more, so die cut another of the largest florets, used Distress Stains in various greens dried and then covered them up with Gattered Twigs. Swiped a Versamark pad over them and embossed with Rustique Tin Can. Tore off the individual petals and adhered them separately. Added the two pink gauze ribbon ends and the large white half pearl.

Stamped the sentiments with Versafine Black Onyx.

As a final touch added the beige lace edging.

Side folded my white card. Used Tim's poinsettia embossing folder. Hit the high points with a dirty red sponge then a Versamark pad and embossed with Stamp n Bond, heat activated and sprinkled with Distress Star Dust glitter, then reactivated.

Used the 2 smaller sized florets for this card. Sprayed the florets with water and only partially put them in the previous pinky inks, giving it a more marble look. Ran thru my machine with Cuttlebug "Swiss Dots" folder, hit the high points with a Versamark pad and embossed with Stamp n Bond, heat activated and sprinkled with Distress Thistle glitter, then reactivated.

Adhered the florets, added a multi pointed rhinestone center. Created leaves with the largest floret die, staining with Distress greens. drying and adhered the petals separately.

Stamped the first part of the quote on the outside with the black and the rest of the quote on the inside.
