Here's the back pages... A few of them aren't finished yet, but will be eventually and updated.

All pages are created on "Moh Via Felt Tex 80# Natural" paper. It has a light texture. All page artwork was trimmed down to 5.5" x 8.75"

ID: Blue bird -

I stenciled the flower branch, stamped and painted the bird (Stampendous "Jumbo Songbird")

Lettering done with 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in Blackletter

Quote: my heart is like a singing bird. Christina Rossetti

ID: Bird Nest -

I watercolored with some light blue for the sky background. Die cut the tree branch and leaves (Sizzix Bigz "Branch Tree" and "Garden Greens")

Electronically cut the bird and nest (Impression Obsession "Home Sweet Nest") and stamped with Distress pads, moved color around with a waterbrush.

Calligraphy done with 1.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in Uncial

Quote: God gives every bird his worm, but he does not throw it into the nest. PD James

ID: Winter -

I created a similar scene for a greeting card and liked the results, so created it again for the booklet. I used various images (Penny Black: "Snow Fence", "Berry Bevy", "Natures Gift"; Rosewood: "Silhouette Branch")

Calligraphy done with a Zig Writer

Quote: I never saw a wild thin sorry for itself. A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself. DH Lawrence

ID: Cardinal - When a Cardinal

I stenciled the background using sponges and Distress pads.

Stamped the cardinal with the Distress pads and painted with a waterbrush. Added the die cut leaves from my stash.

Calligraphy done with a Zig marker in a monoline "Architectural" alphabet style.

Quote: When a Cardinal appears in your yard it's a visitor from Heaven.

ID: Cages- God Loved The Birds

I had selectively dry embossed the background and hit the high points with a Distress pad "Antique Linen".

I selected die cuts from my stash: the cage Memory Box "Wired Bird Cage"; the bird is from a Marianne Design set.

The peonies were electronically cut and then stamped (AltaNew "Peonies") and painted.

Calligraphy done with a Zig Kuretake Calligraphy Pen 1.0 (waterbased dye).

Quote: God loved the birds & invented trees. Man loved the birds and invented cages. Jacques Deval - Afin de Vivre Bel Bien (in order to live well & truly)

ID: Blackbird -

Stamped the blackbird (Stampendous "Jumbo Songbird") with Distress pads and painted with a waterbrush.

Calligraphy done with 1.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in Italic

Quote: I don't ask for the meaning of the song or the rising of the sun on a misty morning. There they are ad they are beautiful. Pete Hamill
