All pages are created on "Moh Via Felt Tex 80# Natural" paper. It has a light texture. All page artwork was trimmed down to 5.5" x 8.75" |

ID: Heron - The Bishop Has a Skin I watercolored the background and when dry, painted the bulrushes. Found a silhouette image of a heron and electroically cut from black cardstock. Adhered to page and then adhered various grasses and ferns from my stash. Lettering done with a Zig Writer in "Renee Mackintosh" lettering style. Quote: The Bishop has a skin God knows, wrinkled like the foot of a goose, (all find safety in the tombs) nor can he hide in holy black, the heron's hunch upon his back, but a birch tree stood my Jack. ID: Owl - Don't Underestimate Me I love this owl image Stampendous "Look Into My Eyes") stamped with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed, then accented with watercolors. Background sponged with Distress browns. Borders stamped (Carabelle Studio "Dance Avec les Plumes") Calligraphy done with a Parallel Pen 1.5mm and Sumi ink. in a Foundational hand.
