I've been really playing with calligraphy within circles and thought I'd try it on an envelope. Love the way it turned out.

I used a Parallel pen and Sumi ink and then detailed with a red Zig Writer. Painted the flowers with Kuretake Clean Color watercolor brush pens.

The card is a watercolor I did recently and add a quote

Words: A friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of nature. Ralph Waldo Emmerson

ID: Susan Mentis (July 2021)

I was in another tangling mood... Micron pen and Zig Clean Color brush pens. Added Some Distress Rock Candy glitter on the bottom tangle.

I decided to cut a wedge in one of my broad edge nibs to create my own sized scroll pen... I then double stroked each letter, graphite shading and the Zig pens.

I recently took a ZOOM class with Gemma Black where she taught us the fundamentals of Fibonacci. Thought I'd try putting it on an envelope. The colors are a bit strong... c'est la vie.

The card I enclosed was one of my recent alcohol ink scenes.

ID: Cathy Anne Bauer (Feb 2021)

I used to love doing my Kersal letters, but seemed to stop for a while, so thought I'd start doing them again BIG GRIN.

Black Zig Writer and colored pencils with a touch of glitter.

The heart envelope card is a structure I learned in Julie Wildman's Valentine Card class this month. Geli print paper.

ID: Renate Worthington (Feb 2021)

I recently saw a piece done by Benoit Furet of a word surrounded my stylized roses... So why couldn't I do something with hearts... BIG GRIN.

Used B nibs and pointed pen. Holbien gouache (Geranium mixed with Peacock), Opera & Flame Red. On the card Die cut (Spellbinder's Labels 20). Pink Distress pad and Quietfire Design Crackle stamp.

Love the Chinese New Year stamps Canada came out with (24 different stamps from past years.)
