I used a cream toned single Folio paper from Columbia Mills as the main envelope. These stamps were issued on June 20th and I'm partial to them having lived in Prince Edward island for several years. Beside Anne, Lupines, Pink Lady Slipper & the Blue Heron are all well known icons of PEI, but I couldn't fit them all in...

I used Pan Pastels for the background, mimicking the background of the stamp. Added the Lupines first with the Pastels, then with a transfer image of a Lupine which I colored in with colored pencils. Added the address using two colored pencils and used a flicking motion to the shadow line.
