ID: wk 27 -  Unused Tool - Kemper
Size: 6"sq

I have to say I don't have ANY tool in my home I haven't used at least once. As soon as it comes into my home I have to try it either to make sure it works or to have fun trying something new... BUT thanks for getting me to play with it again...

On Strathmore Watercolor 140# paper using a Kemper tool with Higgins fadeproof red ink & Ecoline Prussian Blue ink. Dots added with Winsor & Newton white ink for dip pens.

words: Kemper Tool abc xyz

ID: wk 28 - HD Thoreau - The Question
Size: 7:sq

On Canson XL Mixed Media paper drew out the question mark symbol (for the word "question") and inserted the author's name.  Since someone mentioned H2O's I pulled out mine and used the "Indian Copper" to paint around Henry's name written with a Unibal Signo .38 deep blue pen. Then wrote the text around it with various colors of Zig and Itoya Calligraphy markers then shadowed with a black .02 Micron pen.

words: The question is not what you look at but what you see.

ID: wk 29 - Your Country - Gordon Lightfoot
Size: 7"w x 8.5"h

On Edge Sketchbook paper wrote out part of Gordon Lightfoot's song (Canadian Railroad Trilogy) using 3 colors of blue Juice Up pens in  skinny monoline with exaggerated "O's".

words: There was a time in this fair land when the railroad did not run
when the wild majestic mountains stood alone against the sun
long before the white man, and long before the wheel
when the green dark forest was too silent to be real. So over the mountains and over the plains, into the muskeg, and into the rain, up the St Lawrence, all the way to Gaspé swingin' our hammers, and drawin' our pay.

ID: wk 30 - William Morris - Strikingly Beautiful
Size: 4.25"w x 5.5"h

On Canson XL Pen &  Ink paper using w/c for the "T" and a ZIG Calligraphy 2.0 marker "Pure Brown". (needless to say the color on the image did not scan well...).

words: There is no excuse for doing anything which is not strikingly beautiful. William Morris
