ID: wk 40 - Tyvek -Sampler
Size: 4.5"w x 6.5"h

Using all the brands and types written on this piece of Tyvek... Only the F pencil I used didn't work so well so went over it with an HB pencil.

ID: wk 41 - Orange - Fruit Names
Size: 7.5"sq

Created my project on w/c Canal Paper St Armand.

Wet the paper and dropped in Yasutomo Vermillion ink, then blotted up some of the really wet spots. Drew out the letters then outlined with a Juice Up pen. Shadowed with a Sharpie then added the white with Bleed Proof white and a pointed Zebra nib.

words: clementine, orange, mandarin, tangelo, tangerine

ID: wk 41 - Orange - Fruit Names (reject...)
Size: 7.5"w x 9.5"h

I created this one and put the word "orange" twice so had to cut it out and put the right word "tangerine". So this was photo-shopped to merge everything together... and I decided to reject it...

Created my project on scrap paper, then transferred the letters to my gelly printed paper and cut out the thick portions. Adhered to my orange cardstock using the cut out negative portion of the lettering to position the thick pieces. Used a Juice Up pen to add the thin lines of the letters.

words: clementine, orange, mandarin, tangelo, tangerine

ID: wk 42 - Tongue Twister - Perfect
Size: 9"h x 6"w

On Canson Pro Marker paper using Lisbet's ZEEP style letters. Wrote out the large letters using a Salmon Kuretake Zig Calligraphy 2.0 marker for large words then shadowed and wrote out the rest of the words with a black Juice Up pen .

words: If practice makes perfect and perfect needs practice, I'm perfectly practiced and practically perfect.

ID: wk 43 - Same Quote - Apparently
Size: 10.5"w x 8.5"h

On Canson Mixed Media paper penned my large letters in my Uncial style using I think a pen I got from Betty Locke loaded with a lot of water, sprayed Brusho Ost Red powder into the water, then sprinkled a bit of walnut crystals and then a bit of Neuberg Ebel gold powder (hard to see the gold in the image - sigh). When dry shadowed with a gold Unibal gel pen. Rest of quote written with a Juice up pen in Blue Rider Typeface.

words: Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today. Mark Twain

ID: wk 44 - 5 Ways - Color
Size: 7.5"sq

On Canson Mixed Media used some gouache I had laying around from a project a while back... It's extremely rare I use gouache I prefer watercolors...

1: Copic wide 1st double dipping into 2 colors. When dry outlined with a med blue Juice up pen.
2: Pointed pen, Zebra nib into Kuretake Gold Mica ink.
3: Blue Parallel pen into the darkest of the 4 colors I had mixed.
4: Zig Writer in the multi colored work in one of Violet Smythe's funky styles and painted with the gouache.
5: Pointed pen in Dot Lettering as taught by Mina Taylor and dots created with the embossing tool into the rusty orange gouache.
