I decided to try a watercolor pad I've had for a long time. It's a nice paper to work on... Fabriano 1264 CP w/c 140#.
As mentioned before I LOVE Sachinspiration's lettering, monoline style especially his pressure/release style, so I'm continuing to practice it.
I wet the paper and dropped in Bister inks (Yellow, Red, Blue) with an eye dropper. Misted with more water and moved the wetness around with a blower then with the side of my dirty paper towel and got those lovely wispy streaks. (see image below)
Used a Nikko G nib and Sumi ink
