Calligraphy On Black

I was with my Crafty Dozen gals again and created these pieces asking each one for the first word that came into their mind and then creating around it...

All done on Strathmore Black Field Drawing 400 series and using Black Edition colored pencils.

Outline and quote lettering done with Bleed Proof white and a point nib.

Main word colored with Black Edition colored pencils

Used a gold Juice Up pen to shadow the main word and the colored pencils for the un-shadowed lines around a broad edge graphite pencil lettering. Signo gold gel pen for the quote.
