BVCG - July 2020 Lettering Challenge - Week 1

I usually love challenges and this one is right up my alley.

Day 1: (Canada Day)

Staples white 110# cardstock. 6.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in Uncial style lettering. Gold gel pen details. Prisma colored pencil maple leaf. Graphite shading

Day 2:(Adventures)

Staples white 110# cardstock. 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. White gel pen details.

Day 3: (Bonfire)

Staples white 110# cardstock. Black Zig Writer outlined the letters in one of my funky styles. Prisma colored pencils

Day 4: (Camping)

White gel pen on Black Recollections cardstock

Day 5: (Daydream)

On white Staples 110# cardstock, using a Zig Writer and a Micron pen wrote out the letters (Moshik style). Colored wit Kuretake metallic markers.

Day 6: (Excitement)

On white Staples 110# cardstock, using a 6.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink wrote out my word - my ink flow conks out by the time I get to the bottom of each letter leaving these white spots... Sometime I appreciate that and sometimes it drives me crazy... Used a red Prisma colored pencil to fill in the white area.

I saw a word done by Rachel Yallop at the begin of 2016 (thanks) and used that as my exemplar to create the rest of the alphabet.

Day 7: (Fireworks)

On white Staples 110# cardstock, using a 3.8 Parallel pen and Sumi ink wrote out my word. I saw this style lettering in Letter Arts Review 26.4 (Dec/12) by Margaret Morgan. She had written the word "Frances" and I used that as my inspiration for the rest of the letters.

Added a red highlight and a Kuretake Metallic red diamond with a gold gel pen dot in each center.
