Peel Offs Els "Block Love"  (January 2008)

There was a challenge put out by Els to create ATC's using her Peel Offs Designs. These are a couple of my creations.

I started out with white cardstock cut and folded gate style for #1 and overlap fold for #2. The letters for the word "Love" are Peel Offs which I colored in with Stardust gel pens and Twinkles H2o's using a quill nib. Added gel pen dots. The decorator chalks I used are by Pebbles "Pearlescent"

The large heart is from a previous Distress Ink challenge on Created By Hand. Created the heart on Cream toned Folio end sheets, edged it with walnut ink and then with gold leaf, rubber stamped the flourish heart (Quietfire Design) and added the 3 little hearts, then gave it a coat of Diamond Glaze. Attached it to only the right hand side of the gate fold. it wedges under the little gold heart (done with a Krylon gold leafing pen) to keep the card closed. Decorator chalks in blues and pinks were dabbed over the whole card. 

  

Inside I used the same chalks. Added the Friendship quote using Twinkles H20's and a script nib.

This heart also uses is from a previous Distress Ink challenge on Created By Hand. Created the tissue paper background for the heart, adhered it to some plain cardstock, Added some Peel Off hearts, then gave it a coat of Diamond Glaze. Attached it to only the right hand side of the overlap fold, holding the card closed. Decorator chalks in pinks and mauve were dabbed over the whole card using the negative portion of the heart stencil. 

  

Inside I used the same chalks both the negative heart stencil, then the positive portion to create the shadow. Added the words using Twinkles H20's and a script nib.
