PP Theme September 2010 - Punches

I'm having way too much fun playing with punches. So they (over at Paper Pastimes) thought we should have a challenge theme of Punches. BIG GRIN

I used various techniques. The first two use Premo polymer clay, one as weaving and the other as a die cut background. The quote on the die cut never dried (left over night), so I rubbed it off, stamped it again and clear embossed it. The pic was taken before I rubbed it off. The flower on the first one uses a Martha Stewart border punch and creased/folded to create the flower. The 2nd ATC uses oval punch outs to create the flower.

The ATCs called "Follow Your Heart", "Delight Unexpected" & "Live in the Moment" all use the same technique of a punched Martha Stewart border, run through my crimper and then accordion folded to create a rosette. Other floral punches were used for the centers and then a rhinestone was added. All three were layered  onto a Spellbinders Labels die cut out, A Flourishes sentiment stamped on the die cut, some maple leaves punched out and dragonflies added.

The "Don't Fence" is a background made with Martha Stewarts "Fence" Halloween 2008 Punch and you can see the descriptions HERE.

The last ATC "Blossom" uses a Double Loops border punch as a ribbon. Cut twice and interlocked with each other. You can find the punch tutorial HERE. The flower is created with circle punches.
