"Analogous - Scrap T"

Analogous color scheme means three equidistant colors on the color wheel. Like red, blue & yellow; or green, orange & purple.

These 9 ATC's all start out from the same background technique using scrap paper cut into triangles and adhered to a piece of cardstock with Sookwang 2.5" wide tape (available from Quietfire Design) leaving a channel between each triangle, then filling it with Queen's Gold embossing powder and thermal embossing it. Then cut into ATC sized pieces. You can see the full sheet and a detail view of it at the bottom of the page. Love the technique. It just pops.

The butterflies and dragonflies from the first six ATCs are rubber stamped onto vellum, thermal embossed and then punched out with my favorite mega punches.

The glob on this ATC is UTEE put into a mold I made from Suze Weinberg's Mold-N-Pour. Rubber stamped the quote (Quietfire Design "Mini Compilations set") and melted in a toaster oven, then glued on with Diamond Glaze.

The Flourish on this ATC is clear UTEE put into a mold I made from a rubber stamp (Quietfire Design flourish set) using Suze Weinberg's Mold-N-Pour and melted in a toaster oven, then glued on with Diamond Glaze. The words were done with an Inkssentials white pen.

The butterfly on this ATC is blue & gold Opals embossing powder put into a mold I made from a rubber stamp (MSE "Spring Tulips" set) using Suze Weinberg's Mold-N-Pour, then glued on the with Diamond Glaze and melted in a toaster oven. The words were done with an Inkssentials white pen.

The image at left is an 8.5 x 11" piece of cardstock with all the triangles stuck on and the gold embossing. See image at right for a detail view.
