Halloween #2 "Spider" & "Ghosts"
This is the first time I've ever used Golden's Clear Tar Gel. Lots of fun. I mixed it with a bit of Iridescent medium and a touch of Golden's Fluid Gold acrylic to give it a transparent but colored look to it so it looked more like the filaments of a spider's threads. I did this on black cardstock then added some regular strands using a silver Spider Writer. Wrote my quotes using Dr Martins Bleed proof white and a script nib. Mounted them on bright orange cardstock. Glued on my 3D spiders with Golden's soft gel medium. |

Quote: Much like a subtle spider which doth sit in middle of her web, which spreadeth wide; If aught do touch the utmost thread of it, she feels it instantly on every side. Sir John Davies |
I cut out the ghosts from some white pre-pasted foamies. Glued them to my black cardstock. Wrote my quotes using Dr Martins Bleed proof white and a script nib. Glued on misc Halloween confetti (spider web or spiders) using diamond glaze and punched out bats (Martha Stewart "Bat" punch) from black cardstock and colored part of it in with a silver gel pen. Mounted the ATC onto bright orange cardstock. |
