ID: MC June/15 - Heirloom Roses - Smile - HB card
size: 5"w x 7"h

Created: June 8, 2015

I was in a dry spell for a couple days... then I got my Dylusions "Squares Large" stencil and I wanted to play... It's a 9" x 12" stencil, so had to move the stencil around to get borders... next card will be with an altered stencil BIG GRIN

I used an eCut file from Suzanne available on the Silhouette OnLine store as well as a sentiment stamp and design element stamps on the inside by Quietfire Design

("Happy Birthday Plain & Simple" 7 pce set); ("Just For You" 4pce set); ("Butterfly/Dragonfly" 7pce set); eCut ("Smile")

I side folded my white card. Sponged Distress "Fossilized Amber" all over, then went here and there with "Tumbled Glass" and  "Wild Honey", moved my stencil and continued sponging.

Die cut the various elements from decorated papers in my stash - roses (Die-Namics "Hybrid Heirloom Roses") ps I also eCut some at a smaller size... (leaves: Memory Box "Delicate Fern"; Dee's Distinctively "Large Fern"; CC Designs "Leafy Branch";) and punched the Mcgill pine sprigs. Adhered the elements to the card front adding some leaves I had made a while back from polymer clay.

eCut the word "Smile", applied "Spun Sugar" direct to paper and then some "Worn Lipstick", clear embossed and adhered to card front.

Added the little ladybug, also a previous quilled element, some rhinestone flourishes and dots of Quickie Glue in the corners sprinkled with a yellow/orangey glitter.

On the inside: did a light application of the amber and the stencil. Stamped the text using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed. Inked the butterflies using Distress mini pads in "Mustard Seed" all over, then stroking from the body outward with "Worn Lipstick" and touching the edges with "Black Soot", misting with water and stamping. Repeated for the small butterfly
