Trimmed down and wrote out the word "Hello" using a 3.8 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in a kind of bone hand. Added white gel pen dots.

This was my 1st attempt at the Grunge technique... I got larger blobs than I had wanted, but then after looking at it for a while I started to like it... Press Distress stamp pad onto craft sheet. I used Distress Ink pads (Worn Lipstick, Crushed Olive, Salty Ocean). Dragged the tip of the glass dropper from a Distress reinker "Vintage Photo". Misted with water and pressed 110# Staples white cardstock. Partially dried and pressed into remaining droplets on craft sheet. Repeated a couple more times, semi drying between pressing.

Trimmed down and wrote out the word "Namaskar" using a 3.8 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in a kind of Foundational hand. Edged the trimmed down piece with a black bullet tip Zig marker.

ID: TH Gradient - La Orna (Tahitian - Hello)

This was my 2nd attempt at the Grunge technique... I got a bit better but still some larger blobs than I had wanted.

Trimmed down and wrote out the word "La Orna" using a 3.8 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in a kind of Italic hand. Edged the trimmed down piece with a black bullet tip Zig marker.

ID: TH Gradient - Hola

This was the Gradient technique... Spray Distress ink onto craft sheet. I used Distress Oxide Ink "Ground Espresso" (didn't have any regular sprays...) Misted my c/p watercolor paper (rougher side) with water. Tapped my brayer (I used a large one for this piece) into the ink then brayered onto my paper. Repeated and also tapped into the droplets, drying between layers. I didn't like the results so set it aside... Then came back and brayered some "Salty Ocean".

Trimmed down and wrote out the word "Hola" using a 6.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. Added gold gel pen outline. Hit the edges with a Krylon gold leafing pen.

ID: TH Gradient - Yasou (Greek - Hello)

Tapped into the droplets, drying between layers. Spattered some Gansai Tambi "Starry Colors" gold.
