Tim Holtz - Distress Grunge

All card are 4.25 x 5.5" landscape or portrait mode done on #110 Staples white cardstock.

ID: TH - Distress Grunge - Oxides Only

On the first tag above I used Staples 110# white cardstock and got lousy results. The inks just didn't want to move. So I switched to Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish 85# white cardstock (textured side) and love the results... I usually hesitate to use it because it's a lot more expensive and the way I just use up my regular cardstock, I'd probably go broke...

I used the oxide pads (Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber) on my craft sheet.  Misted with water. and pressed the cardstock into the mess, moving the CS all over the place. Dried. Pressed again into the droplets. dried and repeated till happy...

On the smooth side (thought I'd see if there is a different reaction) Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish 85# white cardstock.

Using the same colors as above and in the same order and technique. I like the intensity of the colors more on this tag.

ID: TH - Distress Grunge - Distress and Oxide Pads

On the textured side (thought I'd see if there is a different reaction) Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish 85# white cardstock.

Using Distress pad "Picked Raspberry" and "Fossilized Amber"; and Oxide pads "Mowed Lawn" and "Mermaid Lagoon" in the same order and technique as the 2 tags above. I love the way the colors blended and some stayed pure. This is my favorite of all these tags...
