Tim Holtz - Creative Chemistry 102 class - Day 2 - Stencil - Sketch & Monoprinting

I decided to take Tim's On Line class again - Chemistry 102. And more from Day 2.

 


Sketch:
Wet tag, Scattered Straw & Festive Berry stains, mist more water, dry
Burlap stencil, sponge a bit of Spiced Marmalade.
Number stencil color with brush end Scattered Straw marker and outline some with nib end.
Letter stencil, sponge with dirty sponge (pumice stone)

Distress Pads Monoprinting:

Tag 1:
Ink back of stencil with pad Forest Moss & Seedless Preserves. Mist with water and stamp. Dry
Sponge dirty orange, green & purple sponges on edges.

Tag 2:
Direct to paper with Picked Raspberry, then sponged with Seedless Preserves, misted and dried. Several times to get very dark background.
Sprayed Perfect Pearls Mist “Perfect Pearls” on back of stencil and stamped. Dried.

Paint Monoprinting:

Dab paint on back of Kasbah stencil – Broken China, Mowed Lawn, mist water, stamp. (I cleaned stencil and reused paints on craft mat, to stamp bottom right hand side of tag , worked like an outline image).

Dab paint on Burlap stencil – Picked Raspberry, Burnished Brass, mist and stamp. Then did the same as above.

Dab Chipped Sapphire on numbers stencil and just stamped.

Dried between stampings.

Sponged Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, dirty purple & green.
