Created: June 16, 2008 I used a black full spectrum cardstock as a base. I tore a piece of thin cardstock to create a rough edge to make my waves. With a cotton ball and a bit of color, I worked the color from the torn paper and off the edge slightly in a soft circular motion, using (Ultramarine Blue, and it's Tint, and I used a dirty cotton ball that still had some purple on it). Moved the torn paper down a bit and off set it to the first line and continued with the cotton ball. When all the waves were done (these were mountains and clouds originally, but I turned the paper upside down to get waves). I used Krylon Workable Fixative to set my pastels before rubber stamping my fish. The fish and sentiment (MSE #TT234 Sealife set) was rubber stamped with Inkadinkado white opaque and detail white embossing powder. I outlined the fish with a Sakura Soufflé white gel pen. Mounted it to an Bazill monochromatic cardstock (Pauly Poo) then onto a light blue cardstock. |
