Sticky Shapes

Most of the products used for this card can be obtained through Quietfire Design. or through a scrapbook / rubber stamping store.

Sticky shapes are a wonderful Peel Off product. They are sticky on both sides. Combining them with like shapes in other colors, like a Peel off outline in black and then the negative portion of the sticky shape within the outline. Coloring it with Glitter Ritz, a micro fine glitter and then polishing it (burnishing it) with your finger to make it shine. Just fabulous...  Love using chalks and other powders like Pearl Ex or Perfect Pearls etc on them or glitter as below.

I've put a few abbreviations:
QD = Quietfire Design

ID: Mother's Day - Flourishing bouquet

I use this stamp a lot. It is so versatile. It's the largest of the flourish stamps from QF.

I started with a white piece of cardstock and used Pan Pastels to color the background Bright Yellow Green and also it's tint and shade. I rubber stamped it with Versafine "Vintage Sepia". I then used Peel Off Sticky Shapes #0009, applying and glittering one flower at a time. I used a mix of micro fine and ultra fine glitters, burnishing them with my finger when all glitter was applied.

Hint: I used a pipette to apply my glitter colors - make sure you squeeze the pipette away from the glitter or you'll have glitter EVERYWHERE... Then insert the squeezed pipette into the glitter bottle, gently release the bulb of the pipette and watch the glitter get sucked into the pipette. Carefully and gently remove the pipette from the glitter container (keep it in a more horizontal position so the glitter doesn't fall out of the pipette), taping off excess glitter from the outside of the pipette, then tap the pipette where you want your glitter to land. To put the rest of the glitter back into the container, just hold it vertically over your container and it will fall right back in.

I then punched out the two edges with a Martha Stewart scallop edged border punch. Mounted this to a Bazzill Monochromatic deep aqua blue cardstock then onto a bright yellow cardstock. I rubber stamped the word "Memories" from QF with Versa Fine "Blue Lagoon". I added stickles to the centers of all the flowers in yellow, orange and/or gold.
