Each journal has approx 30+ silver edged pages and 8 coordinating cardstock pages. The coves are made from gold metallic mat board, with the gold usually going on the inside. The outside is covered with recently created hand made paste papers. The edges vary from using a Krylon Gold leafing pen, or a Zig marker in a matching color or thermal embossing.

This is one of the exceptions where the gold is part of the outside cover design. The inside and edge is the black of the mat board.

This is another exception, where I added a strip of the matching inside cardstock and adhered punched out letters for the word "Dream" in the same paste paper. The edge is thermal embossed with a greenish blue.
