I came across this structure while looking for something else... I was intrigued...

YouTube by Camille Riner HERE

I used Columbia Mills LBS End Paper for both accordions, one of them with a geli print, the other I wrote a quote using a 2.0 calligraphy marker pen.

Covers made from a very heavy weight white cardstock - I think 165# covered with the same geli print and tied with narrow/narrow ribbon.

Words: Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel. Socrates

Instructions:

Cut paper any length (mine was 14") divide length in 4 which is your height.

Fold lengthwise in half, each end in half, bring folded edges to the half point, then fold in the 2 ends.

There are 8 equal folds making 4 square areas. On right side of one piece fold the corner up to the 2nd fold. Repeat with the other corner (you should have 2 V and 1M fold in the 1st square area). Repeat with other 3 squares. NOTE: this one can have readable text quote.

One the 2nd sheet, working on the wrong side, fold the point of the 1st fold to the point of the 3rd fold. Repeat with the other point of the 1st fold. Again you should end up with 2M folds and 1 V fold. Repeat twice more leaving the ends alone.

Adhere the triangles at each end to the right side of the 2nd sheet edge to edge). Put a dab of glue on 2 of the inner triangles to hold everything in place.

Cover your covers and adhere to he accordion ends. Add a ribbon closure.
