Crisscross Lexophiles I used Canson Colorline in pinks & Purple for the page pockets. Staples 110# white cardstock for the pages and matboard for covers covered with a geli print done on Columbia Mills LBS End Paper with acrylic paints. Corner rounded one edge of the pages. Added heart shaped eyelets for the Sari ribbon closure. Pink
side of tags; A Lot of money is tainted 'taint yours, and 'taint mine A dentist and a manicurist fought tooth and nail. The baker threw the shortening across the kitchen because the sous chef wanted to see the butter fly. A will is a dead giveaway. The guy who fell onto an upholstery machine was fully recovered. I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger... then it hit me. |
Purple side of tags; No matter how much you push the envelope , it will still be stationary. A bicycle can't stand alone; it's just too tyred. A thief who stole a calendar got twelve months. If you don't pay your exorcist you can get repossessed. I stayed up all night to see where the sun went and then it dawned on me. I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. I just can't put it down. England has no kidney bank, but it does have a Liverpool.

Crisscross - Blue - Friends Forever size: 3"w x 2"h x .75"thk I decided to make a mini booklet... it's so cute. I cut
my papers: I used Michael's Recollection shades of blues cardstock for the pockets and tags, heavy weight white cardstock for the covers which I covered with a geli print, blue eyelets and Sari ribbon. Text done with gold and copper metallic calligraphy pens and outlined with JuiceUp silver metallic pen. |
Instructions: Cut 4 pieces whatever height and use that figure times 3 for the width (example: 3"h booklet page x 9"w). Cut 2 pieces by the above height times 2 plus the 2 gluing ends of 1/4" (total: 6.5" wide) Create 2 sets of 2
long pieces and 1 short piece. 1b) Score the small piece at 1/4", 3 1/4" and 6 1/4" 1c) Accordion fold the strips (m, v, m). Find the mid point on the top edge and 2 side edges. Cut away. Cut a slit from the mid point to the bottom edge. (see dia) For the 2nd set do step 1a, 1b and 1c then find the mid point and cut away from the mid point to the top corners (see dia) Set 1: glue the small 1/4 edges of the small strip to the long strips. (I usually glue to the back side) Set 2: repeat steps for set 1. Interlace the 2 strips. Your pockets are complete. Now adhere to your covers putting glue on sections as shown in the diagram. Do not glue anything to your spine.
