I came across someone mentioning this type of binding... so looked it up and found this uTube instructional video. Well done. See it HERE

It's extremely versatile if you have single page binding needs. Will also work with Signatures but you wont see as much of the stitching detail. It does need heavy cardstock or cardboard pages rather than text weight paper. The binding will probably rip the binding holes...

So after making several of these booklets... .my mind kept looking for OK ideas on how to use just thin papers... and this one uses one sided basic scrapbook papers... I'm content now. BIG GRIN

I raided my scrapbook papers to find a nice blend of designs/colors.

There are 10 pages plus the covers. I adhered 2 scrapbook papers to the covers for strength and a heavier feel.

I placed the design portion of the paper facing each other to give a wide spread leaving the backs which are white for whatever.

On the white sides I added another narrow piece of white paper to give the strength for the holes for binding.

Each hole is individually bound with a 4ply dusty Rose waxed linen thread folded in half. The 2 ends inserted into the hole from the inside and then threaded through the loop to create your 1st slip knot. Ends inserted through the inside of the next page hole and threaded through the loop created. Continue to the end and tie a double knot.

I punched my holes 1/4" from the edge and used approx 2.5" of thread for each page plus covers and a bit more to string the beads (from a necklace).

I added a bit of a twisted macramé stitch

I used a pointed nib and Sumi ink in Copperplate style for the title. die cutting with Spellbinder's Labels #17 and sponging with Distress "Tea Dye".

I matched the linear designs of the papers for a cohesive look.
