ID: Pop Up Accordion

I was flipping through Hedi Kyle's book "Art Of The Fold" and stopped at this one. Thought I'd give it a try...

I accordion folded an 8.5 x 11" piece of Staples 65# white cardstock.

I made a cutting template for the pop outs. (the red sections).

I had initially thought to leave it just as is - white.... But then I decided to do an alphabet. There isn't much room for serious calligraphy, so I just did a basic one using the bullet tip of a black Zig Writer.

After the first row I decided I needed some color so filled in the pop outs with a red Pentel Colorbrush.

When done the white end pieces looked to blah... so added some leftover Geli print paper I had made for the mini books I've been making. I added it the the front as well. Then added a piece of Sari ribbon "Marmalade" to hold it closed. 

I'm content...
