Our challenge for our February 8th meeting is to try the next  structure in the book - One Sheet Folds #21 Fishbone Fold from Hedi Kyle's "Art Of The Fold" book.

I love the look of this fold. I remember seeing it many years ago but not having any instructions - sigh, so it slipped my mind...

I thought I'd make a Valentine's card for someone special.

I started with a piece of black photographic backdrop paper 10" x 25.5". One side is shiny and the other matte. I used the shiny side. Created my structure in the basic way having 1/2" for the 1st score, 10.5 for 2nd score, 11" for the 3rd score and a tail of 3.5". Scoring a 1/2" to the right of the scores and folding the pages normally, giving me a booklet 5"h x 6.75"w.

I die cut a bunch of hearts from a textured pink cardstock and adhered them randomly. I cut more hearts from some marbled paper I had made eons ago...

Wrote out the quote using a white gel pen, some deAtramentis ink and Pointed nib on a pale gold metallic cardstock.
