Our challenge for our April 12th meeting is to try the next structure in the book - One Sheet Folds #24 Booklet Fold from Hedi Kyle's "Art Of The Fold" book.

I really like the potential this fold has... which is probably why this is the 5th one I've made...

I thought I'd make a Valentine card for a friend.

I used white calligraphy paper 8" x 12.5". Folded as normal, but put the covers onto the 3rd page and folding closed at different points to the basic fold.

Open the cover to the 2 page "drink to me" quote. The same for the right edge opening to the "Happy Valentine", then grasp the right and left edge and open completely.

I used a pad with photo images and adhered onto a purplish cardstock and then onto the structure. Sponged some purple Distress pad over the edges.

Quote written with a 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink.
