Our challenge for our April 12th meeting is to try the next  structure in the book - One Sheet Folds #24 Booklet Fold from Hedi Kyle's "Art Of The Fold" book.

I really like the potential this fold has...

I thought I'd make a Birthday card for a friend.

I used Bogus Recycled Sketch Paper for the booklet using approx a 8" x 15" paper.

Folded and slit off at various heights both in front and on back to create the various size vases. Decorated them and created the cover with decorated papers from my stash...

I also raided my stash of die cuts, 3D flowers and cut a few more... Adding the lollipops to spell Happy B.Day. The white flowers are pussy willows covered with white and a touch of brown flocking. Added pearls to some flower centers.

Wrote out the words on the front closure with white gel pen. ("may your day be full of")

Wrote the words on the inside with a purple Zig Writer.
