"Xmas 2008 - Batch 1

I'm making a bunch of Xmas cards again this year, but this time I'm doing them in batches of 10. Makes it easier to keep track of and I don't get as bored with repetitive designs. Most of the cards use my calligraphic Peel Offs which are available through Paper Pastimes here in Calgary, or on line with the Canadian Peel Offs representative under the name of Elizabeth Craft Designs. There are about a dozen word types available now with a couple more coming out in the new year. All these cards are done on white cardstock. They are 4.25w x 5.5h and are $4.00 each All the cards are punched out on one edge with a snowflake border punch which, when I'm using the Pan Pastels colors the border on the inside too. I used Inkadinkado Winter Trails #98394 clear rubber stamp set. They've all been stamped using the Ranger resist stamp pad, then colored with Pan Pastels, then usually stamped again with either Versafine or a Pigment stamp pad and thermal embossed with clear or gold or Holographic embossing powder. The "Happy Holidays" from the same set is stamped with Versafine Onyx black and then over stamped with a gold stamp pad and Queen's gold embossing powder to create a shadow effect. For the inside, I did a calligraphic quote with a 2.4 Parallel Pen and Moon Palace Sumi Ink, scanned it, then shrunk to size and printed it off onto white linen paper. |
