This is the 3rd day of the online watercolor for cards class

I'm using one of the newest  stamp sets from  Quietfire Design. as well as one of Suzanne's eCut files which can be found on the Silhouette online store.

Watercoloring with stamps with Kristina Werner

I stamped the various elements using Distress pads on arches 90# HP watercolor paper and then touching my watercolor brush to the inked image to gently move the color around. The foliage and herb words are from the "Parsley Sage... set" from Quietfire Design, the mason jar (Flourishes "Garden Picks"). I created masks from some tracing paper for the jars and the herbs so I could overlap things.

Stamped the herb words with Versafine Black Onyx.

Wrote in my words with a Micron pen and drew the stitching lines with a colored pencil.

Adhered ribbon and attached brads to the ribbons on my watercolored edges

Created my easel structure and adhered a piece of gold flecked green mulberry paper, then my watercolored design. Adhering the rest of the ribbon pieces to the back of the card.

Wrote the rest of the quote on some scrap white cardstock then die cut with Spellbinders "A2 Curved Borders One" and adhered to floor which was covered with the green mulberry paper. This acted as my stopper.

eCut the "Kiss the Cook" words and created a shadow layer. The first layer I did direct to paper while on my mat with various Distress pads, removed it from the mat and clear embossed then adhered to the shadow layer and on to my card.

Wrote in the word 'now"
