I signed up for another of Jennifer Mcguire's onLine classes. Continuing on with day one...

I'm using an A Way With Words dies "Smiles" 2pce set and a stencil "Butterfly Kaleidoscope" from Elizabeth Craft Designs, also available on Quietfire Design HERE and HERE

And using a quote, sentiment and design element stamp from Quietfire Design, 

("Love Where You're At"); ("Happy Birthday Plain and Simple" 7pce set); ("Butterfly/Dragonfly" 7pce set)

Created the stencil background using a stipple brush and swiping right to left lightly with the various Distress colors of the rainbow to get a dusting of color. Lay my Butterfly stencil on top and still with the stipple brush applied my colors. Die cut with Elizabeth Craft Designs "Stitched Rectangles". Adhered to front.

Adhered two colors of ribbon 2toned blue and 2toned green (available on QuietfireDesign.ca in the ribbon section). Tied a multi loop double ribbon bow using my peg bow maker.

Die cut the "Smiles" from a blue and a green cardstock. Applied Versamark to the blue one and embossed with Emerald Creek "Iridescent Shimmer" embossing powder. Adhered it to the green layer and then onto the card front.

As a final touch added a butterfly button with hot glue.

On the inside:  Stamped the quote using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.

Inked the "Happy Birthday" with various colors of Distress pads, stamped and clear embossed.

Adhered the positive of the balloon and tied a purple twine bow.

Stamped the butterfly and clear embossed. Fussy cut around it and adhered to card.
