This card was made for someone who loves puzzles and butterflies.

The view at left is the finished card after the recipient has glued the pieces of the puzzle to the card. 

Below left: The card the recipient receives. 

Below right: The puzzle pieces are inside the card in a collapsible origami type box that is attached to the card.

Various types of butterflies were rubber stamped onto a white card stock then colored in using colored pencils. The puzzle pieces were hand cut, a piece of card stock was attached to the inside of the card creating a recessed pocket for the puzzle pieces. The wording is hand cut gold metallic vellum outlined with a glitter dimensional paint.

The inside box is a piece of paper colored with stamp pad inks then embellished with rubber stamped butterflies. The heart closure is embossed using multi colored embossing powders. A punched out butterfly adds the finishing touch.
