ID: Flourish Thank You

I just got in my new Flourish rubber from Suzanne (Quietfire Design) and love them. Had to create something right away.

I started with a piece of black cardstock. Put a thin layer of Golden's Light Molding Paste on my melt art mat and smooshed the largest flourish rubber stamp into it, then onto my black cardstock (cleaned my stamp right away) and let the stamped image dry completely. Then with my finger, smooshed around and over the stamped image with Pearl Ex "Aztec Gold" (see detail pic below). Used one of my new gold Peel Offs designs "Thank You". Added a peel offs dot on each corner. Mounted the black onto a bright red cardstock.

The main cardstock is beige, which I rubber stamped all over with the same large stamp, using a gold stamp pad and Detail Gold embossing powder. Then mounted my black/red cardstock in an off set location.

Love the textural effect you get with the molding paste when the rubber stamp is removed and the black shadow from the Pearl Ex gold powder application.

NOTE: This is one of the designs on the Peel Offs "Thank You" sheet that have just been released and will be available around Jan 2008 to retail outlets, It comes in gold, silver, black, and white. There will also be "It's a Boy, It's a Girl", You're Invited" Congratulations" "Happy Birthday & "Love". Two more will be coming out later in the year I think.
