A condolence card for a friend who's mom just passed away.
I rubber stamped the floral image (Magenta Botanical) applying several techniques to the rubber stamp. The lower leaves and sprigs were stamped with Distress Shabby Shutters then I used Portfolio Watercolor crayons in green and orange; The mid section 2 puffy flowers I used a pale rust colored chalk stamp pad and the Queen Anne's Lace I used Inkadinkado Opaque White, then misted the lower section and stamped onto the tan cardstock. I also embossed the Queen Anne Lace with some detail white embossing powder. Added the butterfly and one of my Calligraphic Peel Offs "In my thoughts". Mounted it to a piece of salmon colored Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock then onto the main tan cardstock. Adhered the gold picot lace around my image. Love this lace.
NOTE: The Peel Off above will be released in mid May/08. It is one of my calligraphic word sentiments on the "Elizabeth Craft Design" labels. There are 6 styles available at the moment with another 5 to be available mid May. They come in four different colors (gold, silver, black, and white); "Thank You", "It's a Boy/It's a Girl", "You're Invited" Congratulations" "Happy Birthday & "Love". The five for May are; "Friends", "Thinking of You", "Xmas Seasonal", "Xmas" & Happy Anniversary"
