And another card with  the latest Quietfire Design  rubber.

I've always liked quilled things made with two tone papers and tonal papers... Well I decided to color one of my quilling strips to get that effect and it worked and was really easy. Now I can have any color I want at the "color of my fingertips". I tried using colored pencils, and that worked nicely and had a textural look. Then I went to my Tombows and wow. I also made some quill strips with glitter, but that's for another post.

Anyway, on the back of a yellow quill strip, colored with my Tombow in a reddish tone to create the daisy petals. The brown cone was also two toned, but with a darker shade of brown on a tan strip, not as noticeable except in real life. Did the same for the dragonfly. For the dragonfly, I adhered the quills to a punched out dragonfly and added Stickles Rock Candy and black rhinestone eyes.

I cut out the stamped image of daisies (Stampendous "Daisy Trio") colored with watercolor pencils and added brown flocking on the flower head.

The main card is cream toned and was a reject from another project, but I liked it for this one. It was embossed with the MBossibilities "Whimsy" embossing folder and the high points sponged with a dirty red sponge.

I die cut the grid pattern (Cheery Lynn) from white cardstock and embossed with Judikins "Rustique Tin Can" embossing powder. Adhered it to some plain cardstock and sponged some Distress Broken China. Trimmed it close to the die cut, then adhered it to my card. Adhered the flowers and quill pieces and the die cut grass (Memory Box).

Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx, die cut with Tim's Movers & Shapers Ticket die, sponging some of the blue around the edges and adhering it to the card with 3D tape.
