Love the way this card turned out. I love the background I created with Suzanne's Flourished House stamp. It's the first time I'm using that stamp, but not the last...

The words "best friends" (minus the word forever) is also from Suzanne (Quietfire Design), put into a Spellbinder's Labels die cut and sponged with some Shabby Shutters.

I started with an olive green cardstock, stamped various elements from the Inkadinkado "Meadow" set #60-30496 using Versafine Spanish Moss and clear embossing.

I then used a cream toned cardstock with the flourish design repeatedly stamped with the Moss and clear embossed, trimmed to size. I lay a piece of double sided tape down first on the olive cardstock to adhere my decorative lace piece, then adhered the flourish piece.

I die cut the Lacy Square (Spellbinders), dry embossed it then sponged Distress Shabby Shutters. Adhered it to the previous layers. I then cut out a window through all 3 layers.

Punched out the butterfly from some tissue decorated cardstock using Martha Stewart Large Monarch punch. Inked it with Perfect Medium and embossed with Kaleidocolor. Lay a piece of gold metallic thread between the 2 butterflies and glued them together. Added some glass seed beads and attached it to the back of the window opening with tape. Adhered all this to the front of my cream toned card. Used the cut out shape to cut the opening in the cream cardstock, careful not to cut my thread.

When the card is standing (left) or closed (right) you can see part of the Birthday Wishes through the opening.

The inside of the card

Pencil marked my edges to the inside of the card and stamped the Happy Birthday (Stamp it set #SISet010) with some Spanish Moss and Vintage Sepia. Stamped the border pieces with the same inks and a Hampton art "Artsy Edges" stamp. Allowed to dry and then sponged Distress Spun Sugar around the edges.

Continued to finish the front. Punched out a bunch of small Sakura flowers from the same tissue background cardstock and adhered them to the dots of the flourishes, then added a deep rose toned rhinestone.

Stamped the Best Friends and die cut as mentioned above. Punched out a large and small Sakura flower and adhered them to the tag and added a rose toned half pearl.

As a finishing touch added some green toned dew drop rhinestones to the tag ends.
