This is another card using computerized fonts at a 120 to 150 size, printed out and transferred to Canson Biggie CP watercolor paper. Die cut with a Spellbinders Labels #16 Nestabilities die, dry embossed then colored in.

The font I used is called Curlz, I outlined it with a Micron black pen, then drew another border line around each letter. See close ups below. Colored in the letters with Sakura Stardust purple gel pen, just along some of the edges, moved the colors around with a mini water brush and let dry. You can see all the lights and darks which add depth to the letters.

If you're in to Zentangles, this is a perfect place to use them for your backgrounds. Or as I did, drawing my design with the Micron pen then coloring with Tombow watercolor markers and moving the color around with the water brush. I touched areas with a Ranger's White Enamel Accents.

When I finished doing my coloring, that's when I decided what my under color cardstock would be. In this case, I wanted purple, so I die cut with the Labels #16, one size up from my letters on white cardstock, dry embossed them, and using the die as a stencil, colored the area that would show with Distress Dusty Concord and embossed with Amethyst embossing powder twice to get a deep rich color.  O adhered the letters onto the backgrounds, then attached them to the aqua blue cardstock with yellow floral brads. Stamped the words Happy Birthday (Quietfire Design) with a Versafine Black Onyx stamp pad. Then adhered the blue to a yellow side folded/spliced card.

The Spellbinders letters move out of the way to reveal a hidden message "Love You Bunches" done with the micron pen.
