I recently purchased Lynell's holy flourish stencil #LJ731 - it's gorgeous (you can also see some others I made with this stencil HERE).

All sentiment and quotes are from Quietfire Design.

I've been having a bit of trouble with the pastes I've recently bought - they've been a bit more liquid and have been seeping under the stencil. So I thought I'd try seeing if a Magnetic Mat (from Spellbinders) would work - and it worked like a charm, keeping the stencil flat and in place. Who'd a thunk...

I used Black Glossy paste for this one on white cardstock, sprinkling Ritz Micro Fine Glitter "Peridot" through a pipette, just on the leaves. Let that dry. Die cut the edge using Tim's On the Edge Brackets die. Repeating it on the black as a shadow, then doing it on the card front. which is narrower than the card itself.

Stamped the words best Wishes with Versafine Black Onyx. Added some Peel Off glitter dots.

I pounced a Perfect Medium pad through the stencil on black cardstock and embossed with clear then repeated the process in reverse to make a long piece which was then adhered to the inside border edge.

I mixed some white paste with a drop of Distress reinker "Peeled Paint", put a layer of the white, then skimmed over it with the green mix on white cardstock, let that dry.

Sponged Distress Peeled Paint along the edges then a touch of Frayed Burlap. Layered that to a deep green metallic cardstock, then onto an Olive main side folded & spliced card.

I Stamped the word "Tidings" with the black on the Olive cardstock, trimmed it down and layered to a sponged (same as stencilled piece) white cardstock. Stamped the rest of the quote on the metallic edge and embossed with Queen's Gold. Added Peel Off gold lines and gold half pearls on the edges and in the flourishes in various sizes.

This one was done completely with the green mix from above on white cardstock, let dry, then skimmed with the black on the stems, let that dry, then dotted with 3D fabric paint in glossy red.

Die cut with Spellbinders Labels 8 (largest die), dry embossed, and sponged some Distress Peel Paint around the edges. Layered to a bright Christmas green cardstock cut using the edge of the die, then adhered to the front flap of the easel.

Best Wishes was stamped with the black and a bunch of red buttons adhered to the floor of the card, then accented with dots using Rangers Glossy Black enamels.

This is another one done with a layer of white, then skimmed with the green mix from above. Let dry. Then dotted with the red fabric paint.

Die cut with the Spellbinders Deckle Edged Rectangle (largest one),dry embossed, and sponged with Distress "Worn Lipstick". Part of the quote was stamped on the bottom edge of this piece with black.

The front of the easel card was embossed with the Mesh folder, brayered on the high points with Perfect Medium and embossed with Psychedelic.

Flourish piece adhered to the front and the 2nd row of the quote was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock, trimmed and adhered to the flap.

The balance of the quote was stamped to the floor of the red main card.

Punched out large holly leaves from a pale green Iris Shimmer Sheetz using a Punch Bunch punch. Adhered to card with Golden's extra heavy gel medium and one leaf creased to act as the stopper. Dark red rhinestones were added for the berries.
